DelArte is a new theatre company in North County San Diego, providing thought-provoking, diverse, and artistically challenging performances by local artists.
DelArte Theatre Company provides artists in the greater San Diego area with a community platform for creative expression and challenging artistic presentation.
The DelArte name comes from the Italian art of Commedia dell Arte, an early form of traditional theatre originating in the Renaissance that focuses on ensemble and bringing together a community of all classes and circles.
